Pasumpahan Island is located about 5 to 10 minutes away from Sungai Pisang
Also about 30 to 45 mins away from Muara Harbor, Padang by speed boat
About 2 hours away from Havilla Maranatha Hotel by car
Walk to Padang Hill
There are a lot of monkeys like to hang around on that area. Good time to see them is about 6 o'clock in the morning.
They could be very friendly.
if you walk from Havilla Maranatha Hotel it will take about 2 hrs return

Nyarai Waterfall, Padang - West Sumatra
Nyarai Waterfall is located in the middle of Gamaran forest, Lubuk Alung, Padang.
About 3 hours walk to get to this location from the Lubuk Alung Village
Its about 1 hr drive from Havilla Maranatha Hotel to the village.
Don't forget take your swimming tog and insect repellent.

Air Manis Beach
Air Manis Beach. It is most famed for Batu Malin Kundang (Stone of Malin Kundang), a stone shaped like a prostrating man. According to local legend, this stone is Malin Kundang , the ungrateful son who disowned his poor mother after coming home as a rich man from his travels. His mother cursed him into stone, as well as the remains of his ship, which can also be seen near his stone. There is a tidal island from the beach here, with nice clean (by Indonesian standards) water and sand.

The walking track is highly recommended.
